TNE Scholarships
The Arminio/Effron Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support for University students enrolled in the University of Connecticut’s Neag School of Education and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Our main goal is to create and maintain a model teacher preparation program. To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must:
- Be a graduate or undergraduate student enrolled full-time in Neag and CLAS
- Submit an application which includes, without limitation, a one-page essay explaining why the candidate would like to be considered for the scholarship
- Demonstrate a talent or skill which will enhance the Integrated Bachelors/Masters program
- Demonstrate financial need
- Demonstrate intent to pursue a career as a grade(s) K-12 teacher
The Lodewick TNE Alumni Scholarship fund provides scholarship support for University students enrolled in the University of Connecticut’s Neag School of Education. To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must:
- Be a student enrolled full time in the Neag school’s Integrated Bachelor/Master program or such similar successor program as determined by the University
- Demonstrate an intention to pursue a career as a K-12 teacher
- Demonstrate academic achievement
- Demonstrate financial need
Priority consideration, but not absolute preference will be given to those who are members of a federally recognized or underrepresented group.
The Herbert and Sarah M Gibor Charitable Foundation Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support for University students enrolled in the University’s Neag School of Education and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must:
- Be an academically outstanding undergraduate student enrolled full time in the Neag School and CLAS
- Demonstrate financial need
- Demonstrate an interest in teaching as a profession
Priority consideration, but not absolute preference will be given to those who are members of a federally recognized or underrepresented group.
The Friends & Colleagues of Francis X. Archambault, Jr. Fellowship provides scholarship support for University students enrolled in the University of Connecticut’s Neag School of Education. To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must:
- Be a PhD Candidate in the field of measurement, evaluation and assessment enrolled full time in the school’s department of educational psychology
- Demonstrate academic excellence
- Demonstrate financial need
